TEST
Why "MOBIUS"?
If you were to start with a long, narrow rectangular piece of paper, give
it a half twist, then join the opposite ends together, you'd have a Möbius
Strip (or Möbius Band) – named after August Ferdinand Möbius, a 19th-century
German mathematician, astronomer, and pioneer in the field of topology.
Möbius strips have found a number of surprising applications that exploit a
remarkable property they possess: one-sidedness. But why name a science center
after this curiosity?
Turned on its side, a Möbius Strip becomes the scientific symbol for infinity,
representing lifelong learning, evolving science, and continuous improvement.
