Mobius Kids, a children’s museum, opened September 3rd, 2005 in downtown Spokane’s River Park Square. Mobius Kids provides a safe, nurturing place for young children and their families to learn and grow through hands-on activities in the arts, culture and science. The organization is comprised of a dedicated group of people who live in your community; they are your neighbors and friends.

• Volunteer -Mobius Kids Need Volunteers Like You! Do you enjoy spending time with children? If so, consider joining the Mobius Kids Volunteer Program where you can make a difference to children throughout our region! Volunteers play an integral role in delivering our mission to be a Northwest institution that is a center for hands-on science, arts and cultural education inspiring kids in every stage of life. Volunteers at Mobius Kids interact with children, ensure their safety, help to maintain exhibits, lead art activities, assist with camps and classes in the classroom, help with our special fundraising events, and offer their time and skills in many other ways. Most importantly our volunteers have fun!  We offer flexible times and days to help accommodate your busy schedule. DONATE TO MOBIUS SCIENCE CENTER (Opening 2011)

Slated to open in 2010 and currently in the design phase, Mobius Science Center at Michael Anderson Plaza will be home to 53,000 square feet of science, technology, and entertainment designed to treat visitors with a continuum of science learning. Mobius Science Center will give kids and people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures the opportunity to feel, see, and experience how science works.

A blend of permanent and rotating exhibits presented in stimulating, interactive, and experiential worlds will reflect the region’s natural and technological resources and showcase the best of scientific offerings from the region and around the world.
