Ecology Terminology
The interdependence of species is one of the most visible
aspects to ecological preservation. Students are assigned animal or plant characters within the food web and
discover how the presence (and consequently the disappearance) of one species
affects the entire system. The
introduction and concentration of poisonous chemicals as they travel up the
food chain is also addressed.

Relationships within the food
